Cake:
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 1/2 c. plain flour
1 c. oil
3 c. chopped apples
1 t. soda
1 t. salt
1 t. vanilla
1 t. cinnamon
opt. chopped nuts
Frosting:
1/3 c. margarine
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. cream (or 1 T. milk)
Mix all cake ingredients together.
Bake in 9x13 in. pan or 2 loaf pans (greased and floured).
Bake 325 about 1 hour.
Mix frosting ingredients, bring to boil.
Pour over cake while hot.
Place under broiler until bubbling.
This is great anytime! Especially good with ice cream on hot cake!
